New EU tyre label:
more transparency, lower emissions.

On 1 May 2021, the European Union introduced a new regulation on the labelling of tyres with regard to fuel efficiency and other parameters. This is designed to enable you to make a conscious choice for more fuel-efficient tyres. This is because these can contribute to reduced costs and lower emissions for both private and commercially used vehicles.

In addition, the new tyre label that comes into force with this regulation supports the EU's goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050. Road transport and the reduction of the CO2 emissions it generates play a major role in achieving this goal.

The new EU tyre label presents the most important properties such as fuel efficiency, wet grip and rolling noise of tyres even more clearly and simply. In addition, it contains pictograms on snow and ice grip1 as well as a QR code with which the product data sheet can be viewed.
